Triple Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 3 green NutriKiwi, peeled and diced*
- 1 large green apple, cored, diced and skin left on
- 1 cup (approx 80g ) tightly packed spinach leaves or 1 kale leaf
- 3cm knob fresh ginger, grated
- 1-2 teaspoons fresh lime or lemon juice, or to taste
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup apple juice
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until desired consistency
* If you have a high speed blender, rub the kiwifruit with a soft cloth to remove most of the fuzz and dice without peeling
Variations
The apple juice may replaced by milk – low fat cow’s milk, almond milk or coconut drinking milk. For added creaminess, add yoghurt or diced avocado; chia seeds or spirulina can also be added
